MARCUS Antonsson is the latest in a long line of Scandinavians to flourish at Blackburn, and Tony Mowbray is loving the Swede’s impact at Ewood Park.
Norwegians like Morten Gamst Pedersen and Henning Berg have already attained cult status in East Lancashire. Now, 26-yearold striker Antonsson, on loan from Leeds, is pulling up trees. Pre-weekend, he’d hit five goals in his last six games.
“Marcus has a great attitude, he’s a grafter and is someone who gets on with the job,” the boss said.
“He is a joy to have around the place.”
