TOM’S ON TARGET TO SCORE 20

TOM Eaves set himself an ambitious 20-goal target before the season, but after a recent hot streak the Gillingham striker claims he is right on track.
Eaves failed to score in his first four matches, but, boosted by a hat-trick against Southend at the end of August, had netted eight times since, before this weekend.
And, with the halfway mark in sight, the 25-yearold is feeling quietly confident.
“I am on course,” he said. “I stand by my prediction, I think I will get 20. Break it in half, ten before Christmas and hopefully more. I certainly won’t be stopping at ten....
