CHESTERFIELD are undoubtedly making good progress under Jack Lester.
When Lester took charge, the Spireites were nine points from safety; now that margin has been cut to four. The improvement is there for all to see.
As a rookie manager, Lester is breasting the rough seas of League Two with some aplomb.
His players are fitter, more focused and, far from a side desperately scrapping for their EFL lives, play some highly entertaining football. Exeter, arguably the most stylish team in League Two, were under pressure for lengthy periods.
