CHAMPIONSHIP
PHIL Parkinson has paid tribute to his two ‘managers on the pitch’, Karl Henry and Darren Pratley, as Wanderers continue their recovery from a dreadful start.
Pratley, 32, is the club captain and commands midfield alongside Henry, 34, formerly of Wolves, with the Trotters going unbeaten in October.
“Getting the balance between experienced players and the younger ones around them is always important, too, and Darren and Karl have been great for us,” said Parkinson.
“They’re really managing the team for us on the pitch and you need that.”...
