CENTRE-HALF Christian Burgess has signed a twoyear contract extension with Portsmouth that will take him to 2020.
His contract was due to expire at the end of the season and provides a timely boost to Pompey, who lie 14th in the table.
“I’m delighted that everything’s been completed,” said Burgess, 25. “It’s great to be able to commit to this club and I was always confident I’d be here for a while longer.
