LENELL John-Lewis didn’t mind being spotted in another team’s shirt in midweek.
The 28-year-old Shrewsbury striker was back at his old side Grimsby as he featured in a benefit game for veteran midfielder Craig Disley, 36, who helped the Mariners return to the Football League in 2015-16 but was released last summer.
John-Lewis, who left Grimsby to join Newport in 2015, said: “Dis deserved it – he’s a top guy.
