DEFENDER Dan Butler is relieved he will be able to carry on assisting the Newport cause after his red card was overturned on appeal this week.
The 23-year-old was sent off by referee Craig Hicks in the 34th minute of the Exiles’ 3-0 loss at Notts County last week. Butler was judged to have caught Magpies defender Matt Tootle with an elbow.
However, the FA withdrew Butler’s three-game suspension.
