IKE Ugbo is aiming to use his scoring form for the England Under-20s as inspiration to turn it on for Barnsley.
The 19-year-old forward, on loan at Oakwell from Chelsea for the season, notched in a 5-1 friendly win over Italy.
“When I get picked for England, it gives me a bit of extra confidence and scoring gives me even more of a boost,” said Ugbo.
“I just want to keep it going for Barnsley now.
“I can gain experience playing a lot of games here.
“Hopefully, Chelsea will have another look at me at the end of the season.”
