SUNDERLAND midfielder Jonny Williams has put his bizarre luck with illness behind him and is ready to work hard on and off the pitch to help lift Sunderland clear of relegation.
The 24-year-old Welshman, on loan from Crystal Palace, missed defeats against Cardiff and Ipswich with two stomach problems in the space of three days.
“It was something you can’t really expect. I have had maybe two in my life,” said Williams.
