A SMALL squad has its downfalls but Lincoln goalkeeper Josh Vickers claims it has benefitted the Imps.
The 21-year-old stopper, who has taken over the No.1 jersey from Paul Farman in recent weeks, is not worried about injuries and suspensions hindering the side.
“There has been a lot of discussion about squads, but I think we are better with a small squad, because it’s tight-knit and everyone is in and around it,” Vickers said.
“There’s healthy competition between me and Farms. We are adults and we are respectful. We push each other every day.”...
