LESTER EAGER TO TAKE SPIREITE CHANCE

BOSS: Jack Lester

CLUB legend Jack Lester was on Friday unveiled as the new Chesterfield manager – and the former Spireite is already planning on leaving a legacy in Derbyshire.
Lester made over 200 appearances in his six-year spell at the club as a player, scoring 94 goals.
Since hanging up his boots, the now 41-year-old has been coaching, most recently with the Nottingham Forest academy.
But his first senior managerial role will be back at the club where he became a firm fans’ favourite.
