OXFORD United new boy Alex Mowatt’s aim is simple – to create goals and play good football.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined the U’s on deadline day, agreeing a season-long loan deal, having failed to nail down a regular spot for Championship side Barnsley.
And the ex-England Under-20 international was clear about what he hopes to bring to his new club.
“I like to create and score goals, but I’d like to think I will work very hard for the team, too,” said Mowatt.
