Classy U’s have boss Pep all a-flutter

OXFORD United boss Pep Clotet was left purring at his team’s attacking flair after they hammered strugglers Gillingham to move up to sixth in League One.
The U’s went into overdrive at the start of the second half, with Jack Payne, Joe Rothwell and Rob Hall all notching in the space of eight minutes straight after the restart.
Payne flicked home Rob Hall’s cross on 48 minutes, Rothwell fired past the keeper on 54 from Payne’s through ball, and Hall then drilled a shot under keeper Tomas Holy on 56 minutes after Jon Obika’s backheel.
