DARREN Ferguson won promotion with Doncaster last season. He lost 51% of his games as manager at Preston.
Phil Brown won promotion with Southend in 2015. He lost 41% of his games as manager at Preston.
Paul Simpson won the U20 World Cup this summer. He lost nearly 39% of his games as manager at Preston.
I had won a good few trophies myself and followed all three of those highly capable and successful managers into Deepdale in 2012 before losing 37% of my games as manager of Preston.
