MIDDLESBROUGH boss Garry Monk has suffered a major blow, with striker Rudy Gestede ruled out for three months with injury.
The 28-year-old, who joined from Aston Villa in January, suffered a dead leg in training and bled heavily despite receiving treatment.
He underwent surgery last week and will not play again until Christmas. “It’s rare for it to rebleed.
After compression and ice it goes back to normal but it was excessive, more than a normal dead leg,” Monk said.
