ABEL LOSS ‘IS HUGE’

HULL manager Leonid Slutsky says he is devastated to have lost star striker Abel Hernandez for six months through injury.
The Uruguayan frontman, 27, suffered a ruptured Achilles in the Tigers’ 3-2 midweek defeat at home to Wolves.
Slutsky said: “For me, Abel is one of the best forwards in the Championship and is a huge player for us.
“It is also a big blow for Abel as he had made a very good start to the season and was playing very well.”
