PUSHING ON: Stobbs

MICHAEL Brown has made his 16th summer signing for Port Vale, bringing in winger Jack Stobbs on loan from Sheffield Wednesday for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old Stobbs is the Championship side’s Under-23 captain and has been with the club since childhood, making his firstteam debut in April 2014.
The wide man has made only one further first-team appearance since then and was keen to get more football under his belt.
