GARETH BRINGS IN ‘TOP, TOP’ ACE IN MACK

CRAIG Mackail-Smith could be the missing piece in Wycombe’s promotion bid, according to manager Gareth Ainsworth after the veteran striker joined on a one-year deal.
Now 33, Mackail-Smith has been one of the most prolific goalscorers in the League over the last decade, most notably scoring 80 league goals during a four-year spell at Peterborough from 2007-11.
He arrives after a twoyear stint at Luton, which was hindered by a broken leg, but is now back to full fitness. Ainsworth is thrilled to have the Scotland international at the Chairboys’ disposal.
