SCUNTHORPE’S Murray Wallace is confident his side can go one step better than last season and win promotion.
The 24-year-old defender was part of the Iron side that lost in the play-off semi-finals to Millwall.
But Wallace is hopeful the Irons can banish last season’s demons.
He said: “If you want to be up and around the promotion places then you have to start the season well, so fingers crossed we can do that. We want to go one step better than last season.”
