FOOLISH TO WRITE US OFF – SHARP

SHEFFIELD United skipper Billy Sharp says any Championship teams that write off the Blades this season do so at their peril.
The 31-year-old striker fired his boyhood club to promotion last term.
He scored 30 goals in 49 appearances as Chris Wilder’s men won League One, securing a route back to the second tier at the sixth time of asking.
Everything clicked for the Blades as they finished 14 points clear of secondplaced Bolton, and Sharp is certain he and his teammates will be able to keep their foot on the gas in 2017- 18.
