SWEENEY IN ROVERS RETURN…

RYAN Sweeney cannot wait to get going for Bristol Rovers after re-joining from Stoke City on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old centrehalf made 16 appearances in League One for Rovers last season.
He said: “I am really pleased to be coming back as I really enjoyed my time last season.
“I know there were other clubs interested in taking me on loan, but once I knew Rovers were interested there was only one club I wanted to join.”
