CRAIG Mackail-Smith will not be eligible to feature in the play-offs for Luton, despite his loan spell at Peterborough ending today.
The 33-year-old Scotland international returned to his former club on a loan deal from the Hatters until the end of the season on the final day of the January transfer window, scoring five goals in 17 appearances.
However, EFL regulations prevent him from playing, much to the frustration of Luton manager Nathan Jones. “Our secretary told me once a standard loan is finished, then that’s him done for the season,” said Jones
