IT LOOKS set to be an exciting end to the season on and off the pitch for Portsmouth.
Yesterday’s 2-1 win against Newport County at Fratton Park strengthened Pompey’s grip on the third and final automatic promotion spot in League Two.
Paul Cook’s men have a six-point gap over fourthplaced Stevenage. Off the pitch, Portsmouth have announced they are to enter into exclusive discussions with former Walt Disney chief executive Michael Eisner, 75, about a potential takeover of the fan-owned club.
