YOU know things aren’t going your way when a fullback starts giving you grief about your lack of goals, but that’s the case for Seamus Conneely and Scott Brown at Accrington. Full-back Matty Pearson, 23, has been on a goalscoring hot streak in recent times – netting five goals in six games pre-weekend.
“I’ve been giving the two central midfielders a little bit of stick,” said Pearson.
“Seamus and Scott need to score, but it’s not just me telling them that. Everybody is on to them!”
